In February this year, Jonathan Enoch received a phone call that would change his life forever. He was told that he had been chosen as the winner of two around the world air tickets and £2000 spending money. When he casually filled in a postcard and entered the competition he really didn't think that in a few months he and his girlfriend would be taking a year out of university to travel the globe and turn their dreams into reality.

With rucksacks packed and visas arranged, Liz and Jon arrive at Heathrow ready to begin the trip of a lifetime. First they fly into the hustle and bustle of Delhi, right in the heart of India, from where they will explore the surrounding region of Rajasthan. Next they'll travel by train to the beautiful beaches of Goa before flying out of the home of Bollywood, Bombay.

London to Delhi will without doubt be Jon and Liz's biggest culture shock and something nothing can really prepare them for. India will prove challenging, and enjoyable first stop on their around-the-world-trip and make an ideal crash course in life as a back packer.
